Did you know… I don’t have too many superstitions on race weekends. Instead of a lucky pair of socks, I focus on my routine. It starts early, eating a similar breakfast every race day. For my pre-race meal, I always have plain chicken, with pasta and fruit for carbs, as well as some salad. Once I’m on the grid, I go through the typical pre-race prep (getting my helmet ready, group chat with my team, listening to the national anthem) but I also check my blood sugar levels one last time. Then I do some quick stretching and step into the car. The closest thing I have to a superstition? My habit of always getting into the car from the same side of the cockpit.

I think my routines help me stay focused for the race ahead. Do you have any superstitions or special routines?
