Did you know… racing is in my blood. Of course lots of young kids like to play with toy race cars but as the son of a racing engineer, I often had the chance to play alongside real race cars. I was born in England while my dad (Gordon) was working as an engineer for a Formula One team. Before moving home to California, we traveled around Europe a bit with his job, seeing some of the most famous race courses along the way. By the time I was old enough to steer a go-kart, I was hooked! The rest, as they say, is history.

In Pocono this year, I had the chance to check out an ’83 Patrick Wildcat chassis, an Indy car chassis designed and engineered by my dad. The Wildcat was driven by not only Gordon Johncock and Johnny Rutherford but also by my current race team owner Chip Ganassi. Read more about my Wildcat experience here.
