On Tuesday, April 7, Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing driver Charlie Kimball chauffeured country legend Garth Brooks in the IndyCar 2-seater to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. Brooks’ charity, Teammates for Kids, helped fund the new Riley Child Life Zone. Kimball and Brooks arrived at Riley to the sounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Gordon Pipers then paraded through the halls of the hospital on foot, greeting patients and their families. The parade ended in the new Child Life Zone, where Kimball and other local athletes joined Brooks to check out the new facility and talk with patients.
