“It’s hard to wrap my mind around the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500; to think that I’m working to be one of 33 people in the world to compete in this historic race just gives me goosebumps. But once we start practice, once I strap into the car, it’s all business. We have to try to ignore all of the extra pomp and circumstance this year, and instead go out and do what we try to do every race weekend–win. The Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing team had a really good 500-mile race last year, and I think that little taste of success at the Speedway motivates us even more this year.”
