March 1, 2014 – Seventh and eighth grade classes at Tuttle Middle School met athletes trying to drive home a message Friday. Two Indy Car drivers, Pippa Mann and Charlie Kimball, along with fitness trainer Jim Leo and local Physician Assistant Don Armenoff talked to the students about the importance of wellness and fitness.

The program was designed by Armenoff and he wanted to make sure the message was portrayed in a way that middle school students would enjoy. Armenoff started developing the program six months ago and Tuttle was the first school to see the presentation.

“I believe it really went well for the first time”, Armenoff said. “The kids responded well to the drivers and the kids enjoyed themselves.”

After a short introduction video about each driver, the racers delivered a message conveying their story.
